Blind rivets (referred to commonly as “pop” rivets) are a two-piece fastener that consists of a tubular body and with mandrel through the center. They are used to permanently fasten two or more pieces of materials together.

Blind Rivets have the advantage of being installed from the front side of the material where access to the blind side is not available or necessary. They are inserted into pre-drilled holes of the materials being joined. Using a specific tool, the mandrel is drawn through the body of the rivet and is snapped off once the blind end expands.
